Who we are?
CaryoCAR Baja UFG is the extension project that participates in Baja SAE from the Federal University of Goias, Brazil. Our project is based on the design, detailed design, manufacture and testing of an off-road vehicle, in order to participate in the national competition Baja SAE Brazil. The event gathers students from all over the country and promotes a comparative evaluation between the projects and prototypes. The winning team is invited to participate in the international competition.
What is our goal?
Caryocar Baja UFG seeks to improve the training of students involved in the project, preparing them for the job market and executing the same problems in real engineering problems, during the creation of off-road vehicle prototypes to participate in the competition. It is worth mentioning, a publication of articles in CONPEEX, or the development of final course projects applied to the vehicular area, participation in SAE congresses and dissemination to UFG partner companies and promoting the university in the field of technological innovation.
Caryocar and the Community
Thinking of the importance of strengthening ties between the community and universities, Caryocar aims to take the knowledge acquired beyond the walls of UFG, conducting courses, workshops and lectures, participating in events such as the Professions Space, Enjoy the Campus and Itinerant Science and presenting the project to elementary students in public schools to motivate them to enter federal universities.
